This piece was made with fabric imported from Japan by Japan Silk, a fabric converter at the time, for Kilohana. This highly finished piece depicts the gracefully blooming weeping cherry blossoms with a delicate touch, and the exquisite color scheme brings out their presence. There is a pocket with a matching pattern on the left chest, and the buttons are made of bamboo. The shirt fabric is a rayon wall crepe fabric that uses untwisted yarn for the warp and wall yarn for the weft, and is often used for Japanese patterns
