Vintage item purchased around the 1970s-80s.The Apollo cap is a type of hat used as a work cap by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), and it was named after the Apollo program. It's a baseball cap style with a long visor, and features an embroidered laurel wreath.Made of felt, with embroidery on the brim and front.The navy felt has USS Hornet CVS 17 and APOLLO-17 embroidered on it, and the brim has navy laurel wreath embroidery.
