sought-after ! Vintage 925 Amethyst Ring & Pendant

This is an absolutely stunning vintage amethyst ring and pendant. I received both pieces from my late aunt in the late 1990s. Both pieces are in very good condition. I would suggest that the silver needs professional cleaning and polishing but the stones are in outstanding condition. I believe the stones are amethyst but I have seen similar stones that are alexandrite, so that's a possibility too. The deep purple color & layered style cuts that are visible thru the stone are absolutely stunning, especially when the light hits them. Both pieces are marked 925 with the letters CA. The ring is a size 8 ½. Both stones are the same size, approx 12 mm x 15 mm. I wish I knew more about the history and when they were made, but the settings are definitely a vintage style.
