Vintage 1900's newly-released York Fire Department Sweetheart Pin-By Dieges & Clust. It comes as shown in the photos. It is signed Dieges & Clust, 25 John Street on the back. It is 3" long. On the top Pin part it reads 1900 4th Annual Century, Amityville Rockaway Course. The middle section says N.Y.- C.C. With the F in the center. From what I have been told it's called a sweetheart pin. Worn by loved ones of firefighters as a symbol of support & affection. It features the NYFD logo, a firefighter emblem with wings, and a banner commeratong the 4th annual century race between Amityville and Rockaway.
