Vintage K&L pendant necklace!!l
This is a rare vintage item!! This is a K&L necklace, which stands for Kordes & Lichtenfels. It was founded in 1884 in Pzorzheim, Germany. It is a city that was known as the jewerly capital of SW Germany. They were known for manufacturing finest jewelry, particularly rolled gold. In the early 20th century, the company moved to Providence RI and became known as the Speidel company. The K&L trademark was registered in 1963 but ceased to exist in 2004. Their jewelry is often described as antique or vintage costume jewelry. It is highly sought after and highly collectible!! This necklace is 17 inches long, the chain is 14ct rolled gold. It has a heart shaped pendant with a pink glass heart and surrounded by bright fuchsia colored rhinestones. It looks magnificent!! The chain has the makers mark.
